Emerald City Creative Arts currently provides movement enrichment for various preschools across the Greater Seattle Area.  Our classes are built and designed using brain-compatible principles that make learning fun and enjoyable for every child. Our main objective is to work build a healthy connection with music and movement. We use a five-part lesson plan for each dance experience. The five-part lesson plan alternates teacher-directed activities with student-centered activities, and developing skills with improvisation. We begin first by warming up with the Brain Dance, exploring the concept, developing skills, creating, and cooling down. This structure provides the repetition and novelty that engages all learners. Our instructors specialize in child development and have years of experience working with young children. 

ECCA is a mobile enrichment services, which means we come to you, all that we ask is for you to provide the space. We offer 30 min enrichment classes for young children starting from ages 1-5.

Dance & Art Enrichment 

​Children are given the opportunity to explore the connections between dance and visual arts.  Students learn and study about various artist and their technique, they will encounter hands-on art activities that foster their creativity. This fun filled class will include movement explorations through improvisation, dance skills, interactions with peers, story time and dance making. This class allows children to express themselves in more ways then one. We offer 1 hour or 1.5 hour Dance & Art Classes ages 3-6 and 2 hour Dance & Art Classes ages 6-up. We are also available for one day workshops and one week camps if desired.
